Cape Town’s history does have some darker periods, and some of its memorable places from this time deserve to be visited: Robben Island jail, the City Hall from which Nelson Mandela gave his first public speech, and the statues of the 4 South African Nobel Peace Prize winners on the V&A Waterfront.

Cape Town is just the most wonderful city for visitors and tourists. I love the good condition that the major public areas are in. The roads are in great condition, well marked and sign-posted. Signage is around for everything. While it is a busy city, I always find it very easy to get around in. There is so much to do and see and some world class shopping malls. Our dinner experience at @bombaybrasseriect was one for the books. Attention to detail. The extra special complimentary 20th anniversary desserts was so special. Since our last visit they have renovated and it's bigger and better. Food even better than I remember. Service is superb. Who needs to go to India when we have a gem 💎 like this in the city center. The staff is amazing 👏 give them a follow, and even if you are not staying at the hotel go for a dinner it is an experience. The hosts were very accommodating to our needs and it was easy to get a hold of them (via whatsapp or Bookings messenger) when we needed info or help with anything.
