We didn’t have a car so the local travel pass which was included was much appreciated. We used it every day to travel in the Rhein/Mosel area.

The apartment and garden exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort, style and its surroundings. The views down the valley across to the Rhein are beautiful. The apartment kitchen was well equipped, the bed supremley comfortable and the huge bathroom fabulous. The shower was good but at 5ft11in my husband did struggle to use the rain shower, as it's quite low. There is another shower head alongside though, so not a deal breaker. We would recommend Altes Forsthaus without hesitation.
