Tornio is nice modern town and all the must see places are nearby. I had a lunch in a restaurant called Ofelia. Great food. Cool thing is that you can go from Tornio to Sweden (Haparanda) by walking and buy some swedish delicacy called snus 😊

Very friendly and helpful staff. Large and comfortable Lounge with free coffee and biscuits. Central location of the Hotel, train connections on both the Finnish and the Swedish side. Delicious breakfast with many options. Luggage storage for departure day. Would definitely come back, good place for stopover and local points of interest (museum, wooden church).

Nice, clean and simple room but big enough even for 3 adults for one night. Big fridge in the room and fully equipped kitchen close by at the corridor for making lunch/dinner.
