The host family was warm, welcoming and inclusive. They shared stories, mezcal, chapolines, and other traditional Oaxacan flavors. The beach, which we had to ourselves most times, had dramatic, thunderous, rolling waves. The property sits right on the beach and is set up with a variety of places to hang out and watch the ocean in comfort. Our faves were the beach hammocks and the infinity pool with built in seating. There is a super cute chapel on a little hill next door.

This is a nice house with an own terrace for each room (if you do not live in the cheap room downstairs where I stayed the night). The beach is a walk of a few minutes away from the casa - just down the steep alleys. It is really a beautiful beach. Don't miss it by night! So the location is great.
