Very built up area but had everything you need. Long Promenade with lovely sandy beach. Buses were great - cheap and clean. Lots of different bars & restaurants to choose from. Prices very good. Nice walk to the Castle (free entry). Recommend The Lotus Steak restaurant! Day trip to Benalmadena via the Ferry is a good way of getting out & about. Sunday market and a very large market every Tuesday in the town centre (which was a fair walk from The Veramar Aparthotel).

You take Fuengirola as it is, if you want bars with TV's there are plenty, nightlife if you want it. A 7 kilometer seafront to walk along, very good selection of restaurants. Quiet areas away from the town. Taxis, buses and trains all available. Very Spanish still lots of pretty squares. You do not see rubbish laying around especially on surrounding roads.

Promenade is touristy, but a few streets back Fuengirola is a Spanish town with good facilities, excellent quality fruit and veg and fish at half the UK cost. Proper high street with clothes and shoe shops, even Botox clinics if this is your thing ! Huge Carrefour supermarket ( equivalent of Waitrows) and smaller Mercadona (equivalent of Tescos)
Every type of restaurants even Indians, Thai, English fish and chip shop.
Parking is difficult but area around mosque is free, don't try on a Friday or Sunday !

If you like Spain, the Spanish and exploring you have a hub of Trains and buses that can take you abour. Visit Mijas Walk along the 7 mile promenade. Go to Malaga on the bus or train. Fares are cheap
Very close to everything €5.00 from the Train Station Fuengirola for 2 of us with case’s. Gastro Pub under the apartment/hotel is extremely popular lovely food too reasonably priced food and drinks. Sit and watch the world go by.
The Staff were extremely pleasant and greeted at every opportunity.
The beach you could trip and land on it. €12 for 2 beds and a parasol for the day.
Appears you could leave and go for something at lunch and your bits and bobs while you were gone would be safe.
The location of the hotel is good in relation to shopping opportunities. The journey to the beach is also not long and along the way there are e.g. outdoor ping-pong tables, a basketball court, a playground etc. In addition, there is a bus stop on the corner of the hotel that provides convenient access to the downtown area of Fuengirola (ticket 1,20€ per person). The area and premises were kept very clean by the staff. The hotel offered good sports facilities for many sports.
Very nice stay, great position, nice breakfast arrangement. I asked a small request from our wonderful host from our last stay and the lovely lady made it 'Perfecto' this time. Excellent value for money. We will be booking again in the future. If you are a connoisseur of fine dining, this hotel could not be better positioned in Fuengirola. Two small balconies overlooking the hustle and bustle of the evening with Very quiet tranquil ensuite rooms.
The appartement is literally 2 minutes from the beach, 5minutes from the train station, at the center of the city, everything is nearby yet very very calm and cosy! We loved everything about it and would recommend it to anyone visiting Fuengirola! Also, Evelyn was so nice and helpful, so she made our experience way better!
The property is located in the center of Fuengirola, less than 5 min to the beach, restaurants, and commercial center.
The place is new and very clean. Gaia and Mauro are superb staff, always responsive as needed.
I recommend this property to anyone. I definitely will book again if vacancy will allow. Thanks again.
We didn't eat in the hotel as we prefer eating in local Spanish restaurants. Also, we have friends living in Fuengirola and met with them as part of our holiday. Yarama is well situated being on the Promenade, across the road to the beach and also far enough away from the middle of town to be quiet and easy going.
Comfy beds spacious hotel. Lots of facilities. Friendly staff. Fridge in room and balcony. Few minutes walk from train station so easy access to Fuengirola Centre, Torremolinos, Benalmadena and Malaga. Taxi rank also just outside hotel. Beach, restaurants and bars also close by. Supermarket across the road.
1. The location, it was easy to arrive with the public transport (train) from the Malaga Airport, it is near to the beach, just across the street and about one kilometer from the Fuengirola old town.
2. The rich and excellent breakfast (a lot of variety for the breakfast buffet.)
Beautiful hotel near the beach. Delightful cafe next to reception, doing coffee and tostadas every morning. Friendly staff and clean, comfortable room. Very good value for money in a xharacterful, convenient location near but not in the centre of fuengirola.
-Rooms with an amazing ocean view
-The location near the beach was amazing with a lot of good places to eat nearby
-Staff was very friendly and the lounge bar was Nice
-did not eat at the hotel because there was so many places to eat nearby
The hotel is located right on the seashore. From our room, with a frontal view of the sea, we had a wonderful view during the day and delightful at night.
The hotel staff is top notch.
We made the best choice for our stay in Fuengirola.
Great location, nice and cozy rooms, the rooms with sea view have a really panorama to the sea. It is recommended if you want to stay Fuengirola's centre. Quick response from the hotel if you have any question prior to arrival.
Very accomadating and friendly. It was my 2nd time staying in this hotel. Breakfast buffet is more better than before, more choices now. I will definitely stay there again.
great, well managed apartment hotel in a Fuengirola area that fits our family requriments. we have staten there for 7 years now. This time with 2 apartments.
The location is great. It's close to trainstation, the beautiful small centre of Fuengirola and only 20 meters to the beach when you leave the building.
