Such a lovely home cooked breakfast with a good selection of continental elements and your choice of hot cooked options.
Gillian was so helpful and even allowed me to keep my bags safe at the property after I had checked out while I was on a day trip.

We love Simonstown. It is so quaint and picturesque. We love the historical buildings and the friendliness of the people. It is a wonderful tourist destination as Cape Point is nearby as well as Boulders Beach with the famous penquins. Stunning views over the bay with the pretty yachts to view.

Simon's Town is the perfect place to go to, to not be in the city, to relax and to unwind.
Boulder Beach was an exciting experience, and we truly enjoyed it.
We ate at Fran's Place on the Waterfront, and had the most delicious Seafood Platter.
The food at Willets Hotel is just as amazing!
In Sea Point, Cape Town itself, it feels unsafe to sit on the Beach for too long, but in Simon's Town we stayed on Long Beach until sunset.
It was a calming few days. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Lovely locals and felt very safe here. Fantastic spot for shopping and earthing and drinking. Drive to Cape Point and surrounding coast is amazing.
A little noisy late evening and early morning due to comings and goings with deliveries etc.

If you are looking for a peaceful place to entertain younger kids without the big commercial rush of the bigger more popular areas in Cape Town, I recommend Simons Town. So much to do with younger kids who enjoy the outdoors without the rush of a lot of people around you.
I read the booking user ratings, and said to myself, it's a bit much to be truth =).. But all of it was so true.. we enjoyed the staing in this property very much! <3 Hosts were very kind to us and there was not a single thing that i could say it went wrong in there.. thank you once more for everything.. Much recomended.. nice location.. quiet neighbrhood.. we stayed in more houses on our roadtrip through south Africa, all of them was great.. mybe we are yust lucky, but this was our favourite and best spot & accomodation..
I rarely give a 10 score on my reviews, but the Willets Hotel definitely deserves it. This is beautifully renovated building with modern features, yet still retaining an early 1900s charm. Emmy and her staff are some of the most pleasant and helpful people I’ve met on this trip, the room was extremely comfortable and breakfast each morning was delicious and varied. I can’t say enough about this hotel other than if you’re going to be in Simon’s Town, I would highly recommend you stay here.
We highly recommend Protea Point if you are looking for an amazing place to stay in Simon’s Town! Our friendly and welcoming host went above and beyond to help us and make our stay memorable. We very much appreciate your wonderful hospitality!
The rooms are lovely and relaxing with stunning views of the sea and mountains!
We loved everything about our stay and thank you for a perfect end to our holiday in South Africa! We will definitely be back! :)
The best views in Simonstown! A wonderful characterful place with wonderful helpful and attentive hosts and excellent service from start to finish. The breakfast was 5 star too.
If you don´t see the whales from here it´s because they just aren´t there that day as you can see such a spectacular expanse of sea from the sea-side windows as well as the lounge and breakfast room.
The treatments at the in-house spa were amazing and highly recommended.
I spent two weeks here while studying at SAMTRA. The apartment is a perfect location, close to the school, close to the beach with a lovely sea view and easy to get into Cape Town. The owners went out of their way to ensure I had everything for a comfortable stay including a great study desk. The bed is very comfortable and the apartment was quiet. I couldn’t recommend enough for a fantastic location both to study and access Cape Town.
we had the most amazing stay at the cottons cottage. Best accomadation we stayed in in south africa. The cottage was perfect for us (Family of 4 adults) and we just loved everything, the Location, the View, the interior design, the comfy beds and the equipment of the cottage. It had everything .Big thank you also to Sheena, who was an amazing host and always available.
The hotel was in a great location with fantastic views from the both our bedroom and the area where you ate breakfast. The hosts were wonderful, offering great recommendations and were really personable! We loved the breakfast offering and how chilled out the place was. Overall we thought great value for money!
It was very cosy, the stuff feels like family. It is not one of the big chain hotels so they do above and beyond for their guests cause they are not tending to a lot of people. They go as far as making breakfast early for you if you need to leave before the official breakfast time
Everything! Location was great, walking distance to boulders beach & seaforth restaurant. Self catering had everything we needed and more! Staff were amazing & always helpful. Nice cafe to have some breakfast or lunch at the hotel. Peaceful stay with my little family 🏝️🐧🐚😃
The view was amazing.
Fully stocked kitchen, including fruit, some milk, museli, tea, coffee, biscuits etc.
Hosts were friendly and helpful.
Would be perfect as a base for a a small family touring Cape Town or a couple wanting a quiet, relaxing weekend away.
Like the feel of the House Real French touch you feel like you in different country specially for me that's from Cape Town.
There is no words to describe this place just Fabulous..
Thank you too William and his Staff I will definitely come very soon...
This hotel is in a fantastic location with excellent staff. And breakfast at Bertha's below the hotel was excellent with views over the harbour. Excellent value and Simon's Town is great also. Maritime museum an absolute must to visit.
Such a perfect place to stay with an amazing view. Breakfast was excellent , the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Amanda & Walter are the best hosts in the world ❤️ Thank you for everything, I will be back for sure!
The room was perfect, clean with an amazing view to the sea and even to the penguins on the beach. The staff was welcoming and very generous and the location is the best. Totally recomended when visiting Simon's Bay.
Lovely hosts, thorough communication. The area was lovely and it was such a beautiful view of Simon's Town. It is amazing on top of the mountain. The view is the best part. In the heart of nature. Had a great stay.
From the location to staff, everything was exceptional! The Hotel is gorgeous and the location you cant beat! The staff was extremely friendly and helpfull, especially with the help for our late check-in!
The location is good & it will be best if you can offer breakfast. other than that everything is fine.
service is the best. View is nice and it is well located and family friendly
I loved seeing the mountain right behind the hotel; it was such a lovely natural vibe. Plus, the elevation gave a great vantage point of the beach for breakfast.
