Everything ! Being a more aged traveller i was welcomed and included in all events. The location was fantastic and really simplified my ability to get around the city and tour the many sites. I would 100% stay there again when my travels take me that way.

Please don't expect a luxurious hotel, it is much better! It really depends what you like! I like staying at locations which are a litte off the beaten track, which are authentic! Try to find the real Mexico! Casa Donaji is like staying with family. In fact you are staying with a family just not your own! They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The view from the roof terrace is probably on of the best you can get in Oaxaca! There is a National Park fairly close by, where you can go hiking. A lot of little Mon 'n Pop stores close by. Bus station 3 min walk away. Inexpensive food from the neighbours sold on the street. Elu (the Mom) prepares you a yummy breakfast if you ask her to! I was there for quite a few days and enjoyed it so much! Would and maybe will go back again. And Oaxaca de Juarez is a great city! Lots to do and to see! Muchas gracias por todo!

The is a great guesthouse. It is very clean, the room is spacious, bed is comfortable, sheets and towels are clean. Air conditioning works well and in May we definitely needed it. The shower has hot water, but is very sensitive to temperature adjustments so don't turn the taps too far too soon. The location is great, close to the plaza but in a nice, safe, quiet area. Although there was a loud convert one night but it sounded far away and could probably be heard everywhere. The host is very nice and helpful.It was nice to have a coffee maker, fridge and microwave.

Lu and her family are so kind! The room was simple but had everything we needed: private bathroom, towels, a fan. The common area had drinking water, a fridge, and a microwave. The location was my favorite part! Very pleasant neighborhood, a bit quieter than centro, but still lots of really cool shops, cafes, and eateries. Also Lú was very helpful in acting as a taxi service for me when I had to get my big box with my bike in it to a different part of town and then to the airport.

My second time here. Lovely family 😊 They have improved the dorm, four comfy single beds and one bunk bed, small socket lamps by the bed. The kitchen as well, moved downstairs and is better there. Free coffee 👍Nice roof teŕrace to chill.

This must be the most traveler friendly hostel I’ve stayed in and it’s all in the details: complimentary snacks, coffee, tea and even mezcal, personal hygiene items free of use, medicine (just in case), Jorge seems to have thought about everything a traveler might need. This place is nice, clean and quiet, breakfast is really good and served with a smile, at an unbeatable price. No wonder some people come here for longer stays, this place grows on you and you start to feel at home. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone coming to Oaxaca, the value you get is way above the price you pay.
