We loved the quiet location near the beaches where you can actually swim (other beaches like Punta are just for surfing). Magnolia was a fantastic host. Very helpful and attentive. We met her uncle and he was very fun. Room and common areas great with free drinking water.

Hostal Central Oaxaca features accommodation within 1.1 km of the centre of Oaxaca City, with free WiFi, and a kitchen with a microwave, a fridge and kitchenware. Everything ! Being a more aged traveller i was welcomed and included in all events. The location was fantastic and really simplified my ability to get around the city and tour the many sites. I would 100% stay there again when my travels take me that way.

I had 4 wonderful nights here. It’s family run and they are very relaxed and happy people. Always warm interactions and kind people. My room was perfect and very clean. The family that run this place make it a special place and a memorable place to visit. I had a scooter to get around and could be at the beach in less than 5 minutes. Mazunte is a small place! Playita offers a great area to chill. It is super close to the beach and close enough to bars and restaurants, but at the same time far enough to have a good night sleep.
