Situated 23 km from Kiruna Train Station, Reindeer Lodge features accommodation with a garden, a bar and a shared kitchen for your convenience. It has great staff and a beautiful location. We also got free breakfast, dinner and tickets to a museum about the Sami People which was fascinating.

Set in Jukkasjärvi, Camp Caroli offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Location is nice private and not too far from the airport, Staff is helpful and friendly

Set in Piteå, 8.9 km from Piteå Bus Station, Northern Lodges offers accommodation with a terrace, free WiFi and a concierge service. This was the perfect winter wonderland getaway over new years. The location is amazing on the top of a snowfield. We had it all to ourselves, and we could see the fireworks in the city from the comfy bed. The sauna was an amazing experience and perfect for some relaxation Everything was very well organised and the staff were very helpful. I couldn’t recommend this place and more for a real winter escape

This property is absolutely beautiful and in such a remote but stunning setting. Would recommend a car but we had no issues with the roads despite the snowfall. We stayed only one night with our two daughters (4,2) and found everything as we needed. The house itself is beautiful and so thoughtfully decorated. We spent the morning enjoying the snow and taking advantage of the kicksleds and sleds that were available that the kids absolutely loved. Lots of opportunities to spot wildlife too although we unfortunately didn’t spot any local roaming Moose. Look forward to returning. The host was super attentive and was on hand if needed.

The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.
