The nearest airport is Kiruna, 17 km from Camp Caroli, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Excellent host who made sure we were comfortable! Ample space for parking our car close to our cabin. We loved the peaceful feeling and serenity and the view of the lake.

The property features mountain and river views, and is 13 km from Piteå Golf Club. This was the perfect winter wonderland getaway over new years. The location is amazing on the top of a snowfield. We had it all to ourselves, and we could see the fireworks in the city from the comfy bed. The sauna was an amazing experience and perfect for some relaxation Everything was very well organised and the staff were very helpful. I couldn’t recommend this place and more for a real winter escape

Boasting free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking, skiing and fishing. This property is absolutely beautiful and in such a remote but stunning setting. Would recommend a car but we had no issues with the roads despite the snowfall. We stayed only one night with our two daughters (4,2) and found everything as we needed. The house itself is beautiful and so thoughtfully decorated. We spent the morning enjoying the snow and taking advantage of the kicksleds and sleds that were available that the kids absolutely loved. Lots of opportunities to spot wildlife too although we unfortunately didn’t spot any local roaming Moose. Look forward to returning. The host was super attentive and was on hand if needed.

A good weekend to de-stress before back to work at nearby Lulea. Would happily go back to see the stars hopefully. Very friendly hosts and good communication by 'phone.

Offering rooms with a lake view and modern furnishings, this property is 22 km from Kiruna and 35 minutes’ drive from Nikkaluokta. It features a cosy, bookable restaurant cabin with a personal chef. WiFi and parking are free. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

Treehotel’s eco-friendly rooms feature large beds as well as stylish, up-to-date décor and furniture. Naturally, all rooms offer views of the forest and surrounding countryside. Each has a toilet and washbasin, while showers are found in a neighbouring building. The treehouses themselves are so unique, we stayed in the mirror cube and it was incredibly cosy ! The mini bar was also well stocked and the portable speaker was a nice touch while we chilled for the evening. The staff are so friendly and helpful and really made our stay very enjoyable! When I mentioned I didn’t eat something on the menu for the evening James the chef put a lot of effort into creating an alternative. The atmosphere in the forest is incredible and the sauna and jacuzzi were a great treat ! Thank you Tree Hotel for an amazing stay !
