Located in Gratangen, 30 km from Polar Park, Arctic Inn provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. This was our first stay in Norway and we absolutely got blown away with the hospitality and kindness we received from the owner. The room was fresh and cosy with amazing views. The patio had ha shared fireplace for bbq or just enjoy the Fjord. The breakfast was very nice and had many options, and we got served freshly baked bread. This is a really nice place to stay!

Yggdrasil Farmhotel Retreat, Spa & Yoga is located on Kvaløya island, 50-minutes drive from central Tromsø. Free WiFi access is available at the farm. The night in the small wagon was very nice and the "fireplace" has a certain charm. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The small farm with several animals and the possibility to go to the jacuzzi and or sauna is great. You can book rental equipment for a snowshoe hike directly on site. Parking is free of charge. Note that there is no supermarket or restaurant nearby. So you are tied to the accommodation's catering on site. This is very good, but the costs add up!

Dating back to the mid-1700s, this elegant waterfront hotel is on Hinnøya Island, by Tjeldsundet Strait. It offers fine dining, free Wi-Fi internet access, and free private parking. Lovely place! Beautiful, right by the water. We are happy we decided to reserve one nigh there before leaving from narvik airport as it was not too far. We saw amazing auroras (mid-September). Helpful hosts.

We could even borrow spikes on the reception as we forgot to bring our own. Top stay.

Located on Storgata shopping street in central Tromsø, this modern hotel offers a large breakfast buffet and an in-house bar. The colourful rooms include comfortable beds and free WiFi. Very spacious room that included a living area with a view overlooking water and mountains. We really enjoyed the great breakfast with friendly, homey dining area. The location is fantastic--only a 5 minute walk to the tour pickup spots and restaurants.

Overlooking the scenic Vågsfjord, this waterfront hotel is located beside Harstad Culture House. It offers a free evening buffet, a sea-view sauna and stylish rooms with flat-screen TVs. Very kind personal, good location, delicious food. Dinner included.
