The location was the best part of the stay. The hotel is situated overlooking the fjord and has a beautiful setting to it. We were upgraded to a mini suite which had a balcony and 5-start facilities.

The room was comfortable and functional. As a single person there for work is was perfectly acceptable. There was also a huge amount of space around the reception area either to work or relax.
Pool and sauna were a fantastic option to have after a busy day.

Clean and comfortable room in private house in quiet residential area. Good wifi. Shared bathroom, but this wasn't a problem. Breakfast was available, but I didn't take. Very good value for money.

The location is excellent and close to Kolding town hall! There are really nice restaurants around and the Koldinghus castle is just a 10 minute walk. The service was excellent and the breakfast spread was amazing. Also they are dog friendly ☺️

There was a great restaurant across the square from the hotel, next to the station building. The Pizza was especially good.
There was free parking in the station carpark around 100m away from the hotel and what looked like a number of other free parking opportunities in the area.

Lovely little town with a variety of old buildings, small streets, lovely park areas and good choices of food outlets. Ate at the Ristorante Fratelli across the street from the hotel. Excellent ! ! Easy to walk around to town.

Kolding was a bit of a mixed bag.
Kolding was a bit of a mixed bag. We stayed for 2 nights and used it as a base to travel to Legoland and other parts of Jutland. The drive into Kolding was slow due to traffic, and finding parking next to the hotel was tricky with the different duration rules, but then settled on parking in the hotel itself. In the evening, around 7ish, the area around the castle felt very quiet, too quiet. There were restaurants open but it did not feel lively, though this may have been because it was mid April.
A nice stop was at the StorCentre shopping centre. Plenty more people here, lots of shops and lots of food opens. Restaurants seem to stay open longer here than the rest of denmark in general.
All in all not a bad stay, definitely needed more time to explore.

Beautiful Town near the coast, (Little Belt) with a lake.
Beautiful Town near the coast, (Little Belt) with a lake. Good starting point for a daytrip to other sights in Denmark such as Ribe (viking town), Legoland (less then 1 hour drive), Kopenhagen (2.5 hours), Bogense (50 mins).
Only a view minutes from the lake you have several sushi bars, pizza takeaways, thai restaurant, fine dining, supermarket and a passage with pubs. There is also a wonderful botanical garden with petting zoo (goats), rose garden and a miniture of the town of Kolding to walk through.

Kolding is a nice town with a good history.
Kolding is a nice town with a good history. The viking castle in the middle of the town is obviously a main attraction, but if you look further you'll find a toy-museum downtown, and if you venture a little outside of the center, you'll find the Trapholt museum, which is very modern and progressive. Kolding also has an amazing graffiti-culture which really shines when you walk around downtown.
If you're looking for lunch, go to either Tobber's or The Mokka Café, and if you rather fancy a burger the only place you need to go is the Burger Spot.
If you're looking for dinner, you can have dinner at the restaurant in the viking castle. It's one of the best restaurants in Kolding. A bit pricey, but worth it. Otherwise, downtown you'll find Rafael's Ristorante, and if you're not in the mood for Italian, you can skip down to Hereford Beefstouw.
If you want to hit the town for a beer in the evening, there are three quality places to look for. If you're looking for the young crowd you need to go to Knud's Garage. For a more adult crowd seek out the You'll Never Walk Alone pub (this is also the place to go if you're looking for a sports-pub). Finally, if you're more of a nightclub kinda person, Pitstop is the best in Kolding.
The hostel is next to a small park on top of a hill (rare in Denmark) The view over Kolding was beautiful and the hike up the hill was relaxing. Room was clean and cozy. I was a little surprised that you needed to pay separately for linen and towels. I never encountered that on a Booking trip before. Keep that in mind when you stay with them.
The public kitchen was nice too.
The hotel is modern and the facilities are well maintained. Located right next the train station, so it is really easy to travel to Copenhagen or Aarhus by train. The hotel is within walking distance to the shopping area in the center of Kolding, so a lot of things to see and shopping to do. The staff was really nice and helpful! All in all a good hotel to stay in.
Nice hotel near the highway. There is a big parking lot where you can park for free, you just have to register your plate number in the hotel. The room was not very big, but nice and clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was rich and delicious.
Fantastic location. Near the bus/train station. In the town centre. By the lake and Kolding Castle. 10 min walk from Lido Park.
Quiet at night. Great service. Good breakfast.
Can connect your mobile (Netflix, Disney, ect,) to the TV. Lovely helpful staff.
The hotel is a bit outdated, but clean. The breakfast area was nice as was the breakfast. The hotel is on a nice location from which you can easily walk into the town. Across the street there is a great restaurant located. The staff was very helpful.
The hotel is in a former sanatorium for children with tuberculosis and is beautifully situated on Kolding Fjord. The building is from the later 1800s and a magnificent and impressive building. A stay here is a must.
Great location and really nice apartments. It's a great place to stay when exploring Jutland and the surroundings are beautiful. Well placed, well looked after apartments. Good value for money.
Nice place to stay in Kolding at your own, apartment is in the same building from the owner but you have 100% privacy.
Kitchen have everything that you need and everything worked perfectly.
The parking is OK, and the breakfast was not too bad, although there was not enough room for everyone to sit (and the restaurant next door has plenty of space but was not allowed).
Nice room, comfortable beds. We also ate at the restaurant, this was also fine. Very nice breakfast. Could also charge the electric car for 4 hours. There are 4 charging points.
The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was extremely warm and friendly 😀 Awesome breakfast! Very good location, super close to Kolding Central Station.
