Peak season will definitely make this town more lively with more shops open. We came during early April, and the beaches are empty (which could be great if you prefer to keep the beach to yourself). The drive around the island is interesting as most roads are narrow with hills. Recommend to go with the full insurance option if it's not expensive as precocious. There are water taxi options to transport to another beaches, and I recommend that over driving if driving is not your forte, and you want to party.

One suggestion for improvement would be to seek recommendations from the property representatives for renting a motorbike, as this may lead to more cost-effective options compared to direct rental. I cannot highly recommend this hotel enough. Location is perfect, 2 mins into town. Rooms are so cool, modern and spacious- beds are so comfortable. Complimentary Breakfast every day was amazing! The hotel staff were so wonderful and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. We will definitely be returning next year and staying there every time we come to Mykonos!
