We liked everything! The staff were wonderful and the service was perfect. The views from the ocean were superb! The quality of food is great so many different options.

We came here for our honeymoon and it was the best choice. Loved the style of each villa and the luxury about it. We had a butler with us 24/7, Eliya, who was the most helpful nicest person. The food was great also and walking distance to the best beach on Zanzibar

Beautiful seaview room no 10, paradise gardens, lovely spa, early check in. Tasteful dinner entertainment. Food and drinks at pool bar (great grilled fish even on kids menu), dinners absolutely delicious (local, fish, bbq, salads, samosas, anything you can think of, all best quality).

staff is the key at blue oyster, they are extremely friendly, well informed, and polite. the hotel offers money exchange which is good because you can pay in EUR, USD or TSH in cash. for card transactions there is a 5% surcharge, but it is common around Zanzibar. I loved how everyone was smiling. the breakfast was fresh full of fruits, the dinner and lunch menu is fabulous and fair prices, it did not really worth going anywhere else to drink something. Beautiful rooms, pool, and common areas. Very friendly and helpful staff. The bar out on the pier was a gorgeous spot for an early evening drink. Laid back and very relaxing. Also, a short walk along the beach to several other nice bars and restaurants. We loved it.

the Location is absolutely beautiful, like taken straight from a Post Card. small hotel, quiet and lots of privacy, which was exactly what I was looking for. no families/kids. Food was excellent, too and the staff just very warm, welcoming and considerate.

It is the most beautiful and relaxing place I have ever been to. The deco is a unique mixture between local and Jamaican culture. There are so many beautiful little hideouts where you can just lay down and relax. The pool is extraordinary. The food in the restaurant is incredible and at a very good price. The staff is so friendly and genuine. The discrete music is a beautiful mixture between african vibes and raggae. And also, we were not bothered by not having a beach. When the tide was low we walked around admiring little șea creatures and we visited the village nearby. When the tide was high we swam around. I fully and absolutely recommend this place.

My partner and I spent almost 3 weeks in Zanzibar in January 2022. We have stayed at 4 different areas of the island, in 5 different hotels, Jambiani Villa being the second one, for 4 nights. Jambiani itself is a quiet fishing village with only a few hotels, guesthouses and restaurants. Right after we booked this accommodation we knew we made the right choice just by the way the hotel communicated with us. Prior our arrival we received the most detailed information about the Villas and the village, and received valuable tips and hits for traveling to Zanzibar in general. The Jambiani Villas are located in 3 properties. We stayed in the main building, called Katikati, in one of the apartments (Iliki) on the top floor, facing the outdoor pool and the ocean. Even though it was right above the restaurant, neither the smell, nor the noise (if there was any) could be felt or heard in our room. Our apartment had a very spacious and clean room with comfortable king size bed, air-conditioning, desk, sofa, TV, etc., spacious and really nice bath, a full kitchen with fridge and a large balcony. Finding European plugs in the room were a nice surprise. :) Wifi always worked perfectly throughout our stay. Breakfast is wonderful. I loved the fresh guacamole and the home made jam! At the beginning I was a little worried that having a restaurant onsite is going to be busy and noise, but not at all. It was actually very quiet, and it came handy that we could have lunch and/or dinner on site whenever we wanted to. The outdoor area is small, but clean, tidy and comfortable. The extremely kind, warm and helpful staff, along with the amazing efficient and professional management team made our stay really memorable. Red Monkey is a great place. The atmosphere and owners are very empathetic and hospitable, which creates a family atmosphere here. :) I will definitely come back

1) Me and my family loved the view, it is definitely worth it to wake up early and watch the oceanic sunrise from this room. 2) Very close to good restaurants like "hello Capitano" which I highly recommend for lunch and chilling views having coffee. 3) Attentiveness and friendliness of the staff

the concept, the location, the staff…everything was amazing.

I liked everything about this hotel. The check in was very easy and welcoming. The room was great and the beds were very comfortable. The big draws, I would say, are the pools and the food. I will stay here again.
